Tax Training, Digital ID, and Truth in Lending Act

I would encourage you to check the "Regulations" page of this website for more information on the following:

1) Gov. Polis issues Executive Order permitting digital identification cards, and encouraging the state to pursue digital drivers licenses to replace plastic cards; and

2) The Department of Revenue - Tax Division will offer a training to dealership title clerks on new tax forms and lease taxes. If you are unable to attend in person, I will be there to take notes and post them on this site; and

3) A note out of the Federal Reserve Board and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - the dollar threshold that determines which consumer credit and lease transactions are subject to the Federal Truth and Lending Act was reset for 2020. These restrictions will apply to any transaction under $58,300. Any transaction over this amount till not be subject to regulations M or Z (except student lending transactions). There will be more on this come.

Have a good weekend everyone!
