Wyoming Titles - Pass Along from DRIVES
The following is documentation that Wyoming requires when transferring a title to a new buyer. Colorado follows the process of the issuing state when that states title is transferred to a Colorado title.
In order to transfer a Wyoming title to the new buyer, the entire back of the title is required to be completed. The top two sections, assignment of ownership and odometer disclosure statement, are to be completed by the seller. If the vehicle is older than 10 years of age the odometer disclosure does not need to be completed. The middle section, seller’s transfer, needs to be signed by all owners on the face of the title in front of a notary. The purchaser’s application is completed by the purchasers and also requires a notary as well. If all sections are not completed, the title cannot be transferred to the new buyer.
